Before logging a noise complaint you should think about speaking to the person causing the problem. The person might not be aware that there is a problem and picking a good moment to calmly bring this to their attention could help you to solve the problem.

Do not speak to anyone involved if you are feeling threatened or doing so would put you in danger. If the person is being unreasonable or aggressive then you should always leave the conversation.
