About the Big Green Fund
*Applications have now closed*
We are pleased to launch The Big Green Fund. This initiative will see communities come together to help us make Stoke-on-Trent clean and green, by encouraging residents to take pride in where they live and promote positive mental health and well-being amongst the community.
We are so proud to support our communities with grants of up to £15,000 (six projects - total of £90K - two areas in the North, two areas Central and two South) so you can tackle projects such as:
- Introducing a community garden
- Creating a wildflower meadow
- Tidying up an upadopted alleyway
- Orchards
- Install a bird watching area
Residents will need to hit a set criteria to be in a chance of a successful application.

The Big Green Fund was created to help tackle fly-tipping, help promote sustainable and environmentally friendly neighbourhoods, and unite residents and communities. Six successful applicants split £90,000 to rejuvenate a community space in the North, South and Central parts of the city.
