Leader of Stoke-on-Trent City Council Cllr Jane Ashworth commented,
“We are just putting the finishing touches to City Central Library so we have extended the Little Library Van appearances at Smithfield and the digital support sessions at Hanley Market.
“Our dedicated digital support team can help residents with tasks such as applying for bus passes and obtaining blue badges. Many services are moving online, so having these sessions in different libraries and Hanley Market, will allow residents to get IT help when needed.
“We understand everyone is eager to visit the new City Central Library at Two Smithfield, and it will definitely be worth the wait. An opening date for City Central Library will be announced very soon.”
