The library will close its doors at Victoria Institute on The Boulevard in Tunstall on Saturday 30 July 2022 at 2pm, but to ensure minimal disruption to members they will offer a hybrid service that will include the following:
On Monday 8, 15 and 22 August the Little Library Van will be available from 9.30am-12.30pm in Tower Square, Tunstall offering:
- Book Bundles

Additionally, Stoke-on-Trent Libraries’ ICT Mentors will be providing a ‘digital support pop-up stand’ every week in Tunstall Market while the Library is moving into the Town Hall.
The first session will take place on Wednesday 27 July between 10am and 12pm and will run each week until the library re-opens in Tunstall Town Hall. This will focus on digital access, support skills plus access to our online library offer.
Cllr Lorraine Beardmore, cabinet member for culture, leisure and public health said:
“We are really excited to be moving Tunstall Library into the Ballroom of the recently refurbished Tunstall Town Hall.
“We have organised additional pop-up library facilities in Tunstall throughout the summer, to ensure our members can access all of their regular services while we transport the library to its new home.”
