Stoke-on-Trent City Council’s online lottery is offering the chance to support local good causes and win bumper prizes in time for the spring.
Potto Lotto was set up by the authority to help people give something back to the local community, with the chance to win prizes.
The authority has announced that a bumper prize draw will take place to win a £1,000 B&Q gift card. And not only that, participants will also be in with the chance of winning weekly cash prizes of up to £25,000. Participants need to enter before Saturday 23rd April to be in with the chance of winning.
Tickets are just £1 in the weekly draw, and participants can choose exactly which good cause they would like their money to go to.
More of your money goes to your chosen cause than with any other major lottery – you can see the exact breakdown, where every penny goes, online at www.pottolotto.co.uk.
Councillor Lorraine Beardmore, cabinet member for culture, leisure and public health said: “Potto Lotto is a lottery for the people, by the people and a good way to give something back to the community by providing a platform to support local charities and community groups in our city in return for a chance to win prizes.
“The local charitable sector has felt the strain of the pandemic in the last couple of years. We are thankful to the Potto Lotto players who continue to support our local charities by supporting a good cause, which they feel is important to them and ultimately supporting communities following this difficult time. As coronavirus restrictions continue to lift, what better prize to win than a bumper DIY gift card to make a new start for yourself this spring!”
