A general election has been called for Thursday 4 July 2024. This is your opportunity to choose a local MP as a representative for Stoke-on-Trent, North, South and Central.

Parking permits

Trade exemption permit 

If you are a tradesman working on a property within a residential parking area you can apply for a trade exemption permit. These permits are £16.50 per week. Please email the following documents to parking@stoke.gov.uk.

We will need: 

  • your business card or business headed paper showing your company name
  • a letter from the owner of the property you are working on

Permits can be bought for longer than a week. Please email us for further information.

Please note: all permits must be applied for via email or post.

When we have processed your application, you will receive an email containing a payment link.  On receipt of payment your permit/s will be posted to you usually within five days.

We are currently receiving a high for parking permits. Your request will be dealt with as soon as possible but please allow 10 working days before contacting us again.
