The Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Licensing Policy was last adopted in September 2020 and came into force in January 2021.
It has been reviewed and updated in response to the DFT Taxi and private hire vehicle licensing best practice guidance for licensing authorities in England and we are now ready to consult on the draft policy.
The public consultation will run from 21 October 2024 to 26 January 2025 (extended from 13 January 2025).
