Childminder training details
A part of Stoke on Trent City Councils Early Years team (EYQI), we offer a self-paced, online Childminder pre registration training course that consists of 3 modules. You must complete all 3 modules and all activities to achieve your certificate. The cost of this is £50.
On submitting your application below, you will be given access to the online training course. Once this has been issued you will receive your invoice of £50 at the end of the month.
As part of the registration process you will also need to have a relevant Safeguarding level 1 certificate and Paediatric first aid certificate. We offer this training through Stoke-on-Trent City Council:
Safeguarding level 1, virtual session, 3.5 hours, £20.
Paediatric first aid, face to face session, 12 hours, £60.
If you wish to attend Stoke-on-Trent City Councils Safeguarding and Paediatric first aid training, as well as the Childminder pre registration course, please indicate this on your application form.
Cancellations for Safeguarding and Paediatric First Aid should be completed 7 working days prior to the course date. If you do not cancel within the 7 working days’ notice period you will be charged for the full cost of the course. If you fail to complete the Childminder pre registration training course or fail to attend the Safeguarding or Paediatric first aid training courses, you will still be charged the full cost of the course.
