Have your say on the future of Dementia support in Stoke-on-Trent
Stoke-on-Trent City Council is seeking your views on the draft Dementia Strategy 2025-2029. This strategy outlines our vision and priorities for dementia care in the city over the next four years.
What is the Dementia Strategy?
The draft strategy has been developed in partnership with the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board (ICB), care providers, community organisations, health and social care professionals, and, crucially, people living with dementia and their carers. It builds upon our Corporate Strategy and Adult Social Care Strategy (Place to Be Strategy).
We want to achieve key aims and outcomes based on what matters most to those affected by dementia. An implementation plan will run alongside the strategy to monitor progress and ensure we deliver on our priorities.
Who is this strategy for?
This strategy is for people living with dementia and their carers, the workforce, partner organisations, and anyone involved in supporting people with dementia in Stoke-on-Trent. It will provide information about our goals and help individuals and families hold us accountable.
