Each year, it is the primary responsibility of the Health and Wellbeing Board to commission a Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA). The JSNA is a broad view of the current and future health and social care needs for the residents of Stoke-on-Trent. Its central aim is to advise the council and surrounding organisation’s investment priorities, enabling them to plan and commission services for the future.
For the 2023 JSNA, we have changed our approach, moving to an interactive dashboard format. This change will enable the council to review and refresh our data on a more frequent basis; allowing for updates, changes and amendments – reflecting the needs of our residents and those that commission services on their behalf.
