Grant Notice

Stoke on Trent Family Matters Partnership
Notice of grant opportunity to support the provision of youth outreach work in Stoke-on-Trent
The Stoke-on-Trent Family Matters Partnership, a collaboration of the statutory, voluntary, community and faith sectors in the city, is testing a range of initiatives to help improve outcomes for families. The Partnership invites submissions from suitable providers for grants to deliver youth outreach work for the period (or part period) between 27 August to 10 November 2024.
Grants of up to £3,000 may be awarded to organisations who meet minimum criteria and can best demonstrate the ability to safely deliver activities and engage young people from the city from age 11 – 18.
Submissions are welcomed from organisations with prior experience of working with young people and who are delivering or able to deliver outreach activities in areas of the city which have little or no youth provision. The Partnership is looking for organisations who understand and are able to engage those young people who are most likely to benefit, are able to help them and their families to be more engaged with their school and other services and to increase their awareness of healthy lifestyles and behaviours.
All successful applicants will be expected to sign an agreement with the Stoke-on-Trent City Council, which includes safeguarding; data processing; payment arrangements and reporting, in order to deliver services on behalf of the Family Matters Partnership.
Interested organisations may apply by requesting an application form from FSPartnership@stoke.gov.uk and returning completed forms by 11.59pm on 4 August 2024. Applications will be assessed and organisations notified of the outcome the following week.
