Would you like to explore the various Microsoft office packages to their fullest or maybe you just want to refresh and sharpen your computer skills a little? Are you looking for work or maybe a new job, and know that your Microsoft Office skills are holding you back? Have you recently purchased a computer and want to use it to its fullest capabilities beyond emailing and going online? If the answer to any or all of these questions is yes then Microsoft Office for Home and Work is for you.
Entry requirements19 plus years of age and live in Stoke-on-Trent. You will need a basic level of computer literacy and understand how to use a QWERT keyboard as well as how to operate a computer mouse proficiently. You should have a sufficient level of English language to engage in discussions complete exercises and understand course materials and to complete written assessments.
What will I learn?The course is practical based where you will be exploring the 3 main Microsoft packages of Word, Excel and PowerPoint from the basics to an intermediate level where you will learn their various functions applications. Weeks 1 and 2 Microsoft Word. Weeks 3 and 4 Microsoft Excel. Week 5 Microsoft PowerPoint. Week 6 Final assessment: Execute prior learning of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint to produce a PowerPoint presentation on your chosen topic.
What do I need to bring?Pen-drive/USB stick (if you would like to save your work), notepad and pen.
