| Who is this for? | Do you feel that what you want to say isn't what leaves your mouth? Have you been side-lined for a job as you didn't do well at the interview? Have you wanted to make a complaint or get a refund but you lack either the confidence or abilities to do so? Have you lost your temper when trying to get an idea across to someone who doesn't seem to be listening? If so why not give the 2 week, 2 hour per week course a try. |
| Entry requirements | 19 plus years of age live in Stoke-on-Trent. You should have a sufficient level of English language to engage in discussions, complete exercises, and understand course materials and to complete written assessments. |
| What will I learn? | We will Identify what our own `Personal Brand is, what other people's brands and values are (and why they may, or may not, be positive/negative) as well as how our brands impact on the wider worlds view of us. To understand different forms of communication and help improve the way in which we communicate more effectively with others. Identify good and bad examples of verbal and nonverbal communication. We will also look at methods to improve confidence and how this relates to more effective communication. |
| What do I need to bring? | You will need to bring a notepad and pen and it will be useful to bring a mobile phone with data on it, as some activities may require you to use your phone. |
