Who is this for? | ¿ Anybody who would like improve and deepen their understanding of film making, analyses and critical thinking, ¿ Learners wishing to improve their communication skills, feeling of self-worth and goal setting. ¿ Anybody wishing to meet new people who share a common interest. |
Entry requirements | ¿ A good understanding of English both conversational English entry level 3 and upward qualification. ¿ Additional learning support may be available depending on level of need. |
What will I learn? | The aim of this course is to introduce learners to key factors of film analyses to help them improve and deepen their appreciation of cinema by understanding what methods and techniques film makers use in order to elicit a particular emotional response and feeling. They will look at some of the greatest film and film makers of the last 100 years whilst developing a vocabulary that will allow them to understand specific terms used in film theory to further deepen their understanding of the entire film making process |
