Art Club is a safe, supportive space where young people explore their creativity, connect with others, and nurture their mental health. Find out what Art Club is all about at this Open Taster Session!
Art Club is a welcoming and safe space designed for young people aged 8-17 to explore their creativity, support their mental health, and develop meaningful social connections.
Launched in 2021 by Urban Wilderness, in collaboration with Stoke-on-Trent’s youth and the Changes Health and Wellbeing Youth Council, Art Club has quickly become a vibrant community hub for young artists. Key Features: Creative Expression: Weekly sessions led by professional artists, offering hands-on experience with artist-quality materials and equipment. Mental Wellbeing: Focus on the therapeutic benefits of creativity, helping members manage stress and enhance their mental health. Youth Leadership: Members have a voice in shaping the direction of Art Club through participation in the Urban Wilderness Youth Advisory Board. Social Connections: A supportive environment where young people can connect with peers who share similar interests.
Join Us: If you’re a young person looking to explore your artistic side in a supportive community, or a parent interested in a creative outlet for your child, Art Club is the perfect place.
