The purpose of the Volunteer Policy is to set out the City Council’s
approach to involving volunteers in helping it to encourage community
engagement, improve services and achieve value for money. It will ensure
clarity, transparency and consistency in respect of resident volunteers who
work with the City Council to make the city a great place to live.
