Adult education courses - Intermediate floristry

You will learn how to create a wedding posy and traditional and modern wedding bouquet and corsage. You will also be able to create a funeral spray and open ring design and there is the added value of saving money.

Course description

By the end of this course you will be able to create floral designs using intermediate floristry skills, the skills and techniques needed to create wedding and funeral designs through practical demonstration and practice. 

You will be able to recognise a wide range of flowers and foliages used in floristry.

You will have more knowledge of the equipment needed and how to use it to produce arrangements.

This is a progression from the beginners' course and learners must have completed the beginners' course or have a basic knowledge of floristry.
