Stoke-on-Trent City Council will soon be applying for planning permission to build new homes on land in Bucknall and is interested in your views on the proposed development. The scheme will see the vacant Marychurch Primary School, the associated playground and playing field be the location of 48 new dwellings, which will be offered for affordable rent, market rent and open market sale. The planned proposal includes; A mixture of 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom dwellings. Two new access roads off Marychurch Road and Piggott Grove, each serving approximately half of the development. The existing car park and footpath will be retained and overlooked by new houses, making them more pleasant and safer to use. Part of the land will not be developed and left for protected wildlife and a small area of public open space will be created in the middle of the site. Details of the proposed development are available to download here and this questionnaire is intended to obtain your comments on the proposed new homes in Bucknall. Any information you provide will be stored by the City Council and will only be used for the purpose of deciding if and how the proposed scheme should be taken forward.
