Burslem South Ward

Located in the north of the city the Burslem South ward covers the areas of Middleport, Longport, Cobridge, Forest Park, parts of Sneyd Green and the majority of Burslem Town Centre.

Bordered by the city centre and Festival Park site to the south, the ward is crossed by the A53, Leek New Road and the A50, Waterloo Road.

The ward includes several open spaces:

  • Central Forest Park;
  • Sneyd Hill Park; and
  • Grange Park;

as well as the Middleport Area of Major Intervention designated by the Housing Market Renewal Pathfinder RENEW North Staffs.
