Stoke-on-Trent City Council manages two outstanding award-winning museums; The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery and Gladstone Pottery Musuem.

The city also has two other fantastic museums currently run by volunteers; Etruria Industral


The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery

Travel back in time and discover the history of the Potteries, including the world's greatest collection of Staffordshire ceramics, Ozzy the famous pottery owl and Reginald Mitchell's World War 2 Spitfire.

Gladstone Pottery Museum

A unique working museum, complete with workshops, bottle ovens and atmospheric court yard, that gives visitors an insight into life in a Victorian Pottery Factory.

Etruria Industrial Museum

The last steam-powered potters' mill in Britain, including Jesse Shirley's Bone and Flint Mill, which was scheduled as an ancient monument in 1975.

Ford Green Hall

A seventeenth-century timber-framed farmhouse, complete with period garden, home to the Ford family for nearly 200 years.
