Carers Engagement
We recognise and value the contribution of our unpaid carers, who often do not recognise themselves as a carer, but as a loved one caring for a family member, friend or neighbour.
We all at some point in our lives, could find ourselves caring for someone and may need support to help us to continue to care, therefore when we make decisions on the services we provide for carers, we want carers and the person they care for to feel included, have a voice and tell us how they feel so we can make the best decisions.
We are currently talking to unpaid carers and our organisations that support carers, to fully understand what life is like for carers and how they being supported when they need support. We want to know how carers feel about their caring role and the support we currently provide and other support they may have.
The findings from this survey will help us to see if carers are supported well or if there are areas we need to improve on.
How to take part?
The engagement survey will be live from Wednesday 5 March to Wednesday 2 April
